Goodbye...

The last 6 years here on Saint Helena have been very long and dreary. I am so far away from those that loved me and supported me. I am very sick now and suppose I will not make it too much longer. I hope that anyone who receives this message will think of me and know that I have made my confession. I will always stand strong in my belief that I did everything for the good of France and wish you all continue to do the same. You must not give up, you must not quit! Keep searching for justice and help those around you.

It was a good fight...

It was a good last little run we made! We kept the heart of all strong and fought with all we had! I write to you all this day to say my goodbyes. I’m being exiled to Saint Helena. I will be very far from you all but you must not give up. Keep pursuing that which you know and feel to be right. Do all that you can to win the battles you will face day in and day out. Never give up my good friends and always remember…. Combattez pour quel est juste!

J'ai retourné!!!

Oh how good it felt to come back. Those who seemed to oppose me shouted in the streets Vive L’Empereur! I felt the blood of life surging through my veins and knew that this was our last chance. Our last chance to win it all and to show the Coalition of forces against us that France still lives on and will always be a strong and united country. We must not give up and we must keep going with all that we have and soon enough we will win this battle once and for all!!!!

From Elba

Although I am far from all of you I have not given up hope and know that we can still have the power we once did. We have created a small Navy here and are amassing our forces. I’ve received word that the Treaty of Fontainebleau will be broken and they want to send me away to somewhere more remote. Look for me on the 28^th of February for that is about how long it will take me to get there. GIVE ME YOUR SUPPORT WHEN I ARRIVE! This may be our last chance, we must keep fighting!

My condolences...

Many of you have fought hard to bring to our country what I truly thought was in our best interest. We were very unsuccessful in Russia and many of our dedicated troops were killed. After our return to our blessed land we amassed another army and began fighting with those who oppose us. Our fighting occurred mainly in Germany and then we had to retreat, like Russia we were unsuccessful. Know that even until the end we fought hard though. We maintained our energy and our vigor until there was simply nothing else we could do. We must not forget the good things we fight for. Let us keep fighting the fight always. I will be back!

Russia

What I hope to be wonderful!!! We will attack Russia! We must! Many of you have been saying don’t attack them. I say let’s go for it. As of now we have more than 450,000 troops on our side to help us and we can conquer Moscow and gain control. If you will but believe in me and give me your support and stand your ground here in case anything happens then we will attack Russia this year even.

Family struggles...

As many of you know there will come a day that I will need an heir. Someone to be raised up and able to take my place as Emperor. My wife Josephine has been and is unable to carry a child. We have divorced and I have moved on to find someone able and willing to be with me and carry my child. I am officially announcing my marriage to Marie-Louise. Hopefully she will be more beneficial to my future than those of late… I must have a son!

Success in Germany and Spain...

Over the last few years we have marched into Berlin and declared the Continental Blockade. We have had such a presence in Spain that Madrid surrendered to me in 1808. We were victorious in other places like Eckmehl, Essling, and Wagram. A few months after which we were able to press the Treaty of Schonbrunn and it too was signed like other Treaties we have had success with. We are on our way to conquering Europe and showing those who chose to oppose us that we have what it takes to win. We must win this fight for power is what drives us and power is what will keep us going.

Now that I am Emperor...

During the next many years I pledge to lead you into a time of many revolutionary ideas. None of what we are about to do will be easy. All that we are to do is remember what it is we are striving to achieve. We must remember what life was like before we began this oh so wondrous revolution. We have shown that we are dedicated citizens and we cannot forget that, we must not forget that. FIGHT WITH ME AND WE WILL BECOME ONE OF EUROPE’S STRONGEST AND MOST FEARED COUNTRY!!!

We will now overthrow the government! On 18 brumaire we will convince those men who lead our country that there is much more opposition than they thought and we will now assume control. The Past 5 Years

Since I last wrote it has been a long while. That is because I have been very very busy. Since my last entry I was made commander in chief. We were victorious in many locations that will help strengthen our great country. We won such battles in places like Castiglione, Bassano, Arcole, Rivoli, Mantua and that point the Italians were weak and they signed The Treaty of Campo-Formio. I returned to France and gained more support and made two attempts in Egypt to overthrow Aboukir. We were victorious and now it is time for something new to happen to all of France. You must wait for further instruction for I have new and great things that we will do.

Victoire

We won my people we won! I will say that it was because of my idea that we were able to take over the harbor. The Brits and Spaniards are gone. Thanks to the success we had here in Toulon I have been made Brigadier General. Now I will have the ability to help us more to win this fight against those who oppose our ideas. We must maintain our strength and forces. Help us win this battle. This is against our own countrymen and I understand why you feel it difficult to challenge and/or kill them if necessary. Remember, always remember that they have not hesitated one bit to rid you of what is rightfully yours and for that you owe it to yourselves to fight back.

Toulon

People!!! If we are to have a chance at starting this revolution that we all know is necessary then let us unite and win this battle at Toulon. The British are not our friends and we cannot let them and the Spanish stay here any longer. I have strategic plans for how we can set up our guns and defeat them. We will take over the harbor and they will have no choice but to withdraw. Come people we must not let them stay any longer than they already have. We can and we will defeat them!!! Allez!

The power within each of us...

Do you believe that you have the power necessary inside of you to show our leaders who you are and what you deserve? I can show you that you truly do have what it takes to better your status. We must survive with whatever our circumstances may be and not be discouraged. We can and must look forward.

Why France deserves a change?

During many of the past decades we the people of France have been surpressed and struggled a extreme amount. We deserve to not be subject to such tyranny and torture as citizens of this country. Let it be known that we have the ability if we fight together and keep our minds set on one goal we will obtain that which will set us free!
